The Whitman Hanson girls’ soccer team improved to 8-3-1 with a 3-1 win over Hanover. Taylor Robertson opened the scoring 18 seconds in to the game off a nice pass from Kelsey Gilbert. Alexis Fruzzetti made it 2-0 10 minutes later when she put home a Kelsey Gilbert (2 assists) cross. Hanover scored midway through second half to make it 2-1 before Fruzzetti put home her second goal off a Lily Higgins corner. Hayley Bukow, Hayley Wells, Stephanie Warn and Marina Kelly all turned in strong defensive performances.
