whitman Hanson girls soccer

The Whitman Hanson Girls soccer team improved to 10-1-2 with a 5-1 road victory over Hanover. Whitman Hanson opened the scoring 2 minutes in to the game when Taylor Kofton took an Alexis Fruzzetti pass and fired a left footed shot in to the net. Hanover tied it midway through the first half and then Casey Corr took a Kelsey Gilbert pass (2 assists) and put Whitman Hanson up 2-1 at the break. With the wind at their backs Whitman Hanson came out firing with Alexis Fruzzetti getting the hat trick in the second half to blow the game open. Kelsey Gilbert, Casey Corr, and Rachel Kelly all picked up assists on Fruzzetti’s goals. Kat O’Kane, Katie Korzec and Kelsey Gilbert all had strong performances.
